Impressive Sales Figures for Capcom's Resident Evil and Monster Hunter Unveiled

Capcom has refreshed its Platinum Titles list, providing remarkable fresh sales data for two of its most popular series. 

The remake of Resident Evil 2 from 2019 has now reached 12.6 million units in sales, with 700,000 of that total accumulated in Q1 2023. Resident Evil 7 comes in just below it with 12.4 million units sold, making the revamped version of the second game the highest-grossing installment in the series to date.

Switching to the Monster Hunter franchise, Monster Hunter World has now exceeded 19 million units in sales, with its Iceborn extension selling more than 10 million. Monster Hunter Rise continues to generate significant revenue, selling 13.2 million units. 

On a smaller scale, Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 3 Remake continue to maintain strong sales, with 8.3 million and 7.6 million units sold, respectively.
